Cybersecurity experts recently discovered that millions of barbeque diners at Dickey’s BBQ Restaurants may have had their credit card numbers stolen and exposed by hackers.According to researchers, Dickey’s BBQ suffered a POS breach between July 2019 and August 2020. People who ate at the restaurants during that time may have been victims of the breach. The stolen credit card numbers were placed for sale on the dark web. When they were cross-checked against POS data, it was confirmed that the data belonged to Dickey’s customers. Javitch Law Office is launching an investigation into this data breach. If you dined at Dickey’s in 2019 or 2020, please contact Javitch Law Office today to determine if your data was exposed and whether there is a possibility of recovery.
